The Payson Institute of Learning is moving to new, larger facilities, effective Oct. 1.
The school, founded by Norma Wade in 2006, is dedicated to the improvement of our youth and adults in order to achieve greater life experience.
The Payson Institute of Learning offers a team of experts within the educational field who can test and tutor students who have fallen behind in the areas of math and reading skills.
The school offers them a second chance. These personalized services are customized to each student's particular requirements for improvement.
The new facility offers more classrooms, a library and other features. Fees for these services are moderate and some students may qualify for scholarships,
Also available at this new facility will be the Explorers Club. This will offer an opportunity for adults to meet in order to explore ideas and expand interests.
These will consist of small groups to discuss, in depth, different topics, as well as offer occasional guest speakers.
The first scheduled speaker will be Jeff Robbins, principal field photographer for the Associated Press for over 30 years.
He will be showing interesting, and in some cases award-winning, photographs he has collected during his tenure with the AP. This will be scheduled in late October or early November.
