Homer C. Wells died Sept. 25, 2007 in Phoenix, Ariz. He was born March 26, 1925 to Lyle Alfred Wells and Edith Decker.
Mr. Wells was a longtime resident of Tonto Basin. He built his home on the Bar X Ranch where family and friends loved to visit. He retired from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, where he had a long and respected career as an electrician. He was most proud of his military service in the South Pacific during World War II.
He is survived by daughter Lynda Wells Steinbeck of San Bernardino, Calif.; son Timothy Lyle Wells of Globe, Ariz.; sister Jean Wells Cloudt of Payson, Ariz.; brother Lyle Alfred Wells, Jr. of Henderson, Nev.; and 8 grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Thursday, Sept. 27 at the Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
