Police Cite A Dozen At Booze Party

A dozen arrests were made at an Ash Street home in the early morning hours of March 30. All but one of those arrested was cited for underage drinking.

Officers observed a large number of vehicles parked on both sides of Ash Street and loud music coming from one of the residences. Chief Don Engler said the officers approached a man outside of the scene who advised them he was the responsible party of the residence.

He allowed police officers to go inside the residence and the officers found a number of underage people consuming alcohol.

Citations for underage drinking, or "minor with alcohol in body" were made against Amoreena Sneed Becher, 20, Payson; Toni Marie Perna, 18, Payson; Eden Louise Largo, 18, Mesa; Kelsey Leigh Bregar, 18, Strawberry; Kayshe Leigh Amick, 19, Payson; Neetiva Marlow, 20, Phoenix; Autumn Christine Staszak, 20, Payson; Molly Rebekah Calahan, 18, Payson; Mary Katherine James, 20, Payson; Anthony Louis Miotto, 20, Pine; and Jeremy James Demise Ceja, 19, Payson.

Ceja, who was the responsible party at the residence, was also cited for misconduct involving weapons-using or possession a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, possession of marijuana, false reporting to a law enforcement agency and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Another man, Joseph Amado Gonzales, 26, Payson, was arrested for possession of marijuana at the same incident.
