Community College Offers Short-Term Computer Classes


Want to be more efficient and productive with your computer?

Take a short-term computer class this summer at Gila Community College. Short-term classes are held for one to two days.

There are a wide variety of classes offered this summer from hardware to software. Ever wonder about the inside of your computer and how to troubleshoot problems or make upgrades? "PC Troubleshooting and Repair" is the class for you. Want to use your software more effectively? In less than two weeks you can take beginning, intermediate and advanced Microsoft Word, Excel or Power Point classes. Your productivity will skyrocket.

In Microsoft Word, students will create, edit and enhance standard business documents.

In Microsoft Excel, students will learn to create and streamline spreadsheets as well as add formulas and graphs. If you need to prepare attention-getting presentations Microsoft Power Point is the class for you. Already know the basics? Consider and intermediate or advanced class. All classes are conducted in a computer lab where you will receive hands-on instruction.
