Kenneth Francis Hahn, 70, of Payson, died April 4, 2008. He was born Feb. 21, 1938 in Spencer, Iowa and was raised in northern Iowa.
He graduated from high school in Mitchell, S.D. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a senior master sergeant.
Mr. Hahn graduated from Columbia College, Columbia, Mo., Oct. 1, 1983 with a degree in business administration. He worked as a purchasing manager for Lear Siegler Management Services, Inc. from 1984 until retirement in 2000 and selected Payson to be his retirement home.
He was very active with El Zaribah Shriners and Zane Grey Shrine Club and was president of the Shrine Club in 2003. He was also very active with Payson Masonic Lodge No. 70 and was worshipful master in 2004. He also was a member of Payson Elks Lodge No. 2154, the American Legion, Moose Lodge, Fraternal Order of the Eagles and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. His interests included reading, traveling, hiking and playing cards.
He was the husband of Minnie Hahn and is survived by two children, Karl and Gregory; and three stepchildren, William Pushee, Deborah Frost and Corey Hewitt. He is also survived by two grandsons, Gregory Jr. and Benjamin; six step-grandchildren, Mathew Hewitt, Justin Frost, Joseph Hewitt and Carrie Frost; and one step-great-grandson, Kingston Gaffney.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 23 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, 302 W. Aero Dr. in Payson.
