School Honored For Collecting The Most Books

The Phoenix Roadrunners hockey team recognized Frontier Elementary School recently for collecting the most books of any school in Arizona during its first annual Phoenix Roadrunners student recognition and learning program.

FES collected 1,744 books for the program. The books will be distributed to Banner Children's Hospital to spread the power of learning.

As a reward for their efforts, FES students attended a Roadrunners game where they received foam fingers and had a great time.

The school also received an authentic Roadrunners jersey autographed by the entire 2007-2008 Phoenix Roadrunners team.
