For 124 continuous years, Payson, Arizona has been celebrating the history and tradition of Rodeo. It is still held the third weekend in August and, according to the PRCA, which sanctions the event, it is considered the country's Best Small Rodeo. We invite you to come and experience the exhilaration of rodeo, the sport of the Old West!
Some of the world's greatest professional cowboys and cowgirls will keep you on the edge of your seat. They'll compete for cash and prizes totaling more than $50,000. Fearless bull riders, burly steer wrestlers, gorgeous barrel racers, soaring bronc riders, specialty acts, and colorful clowns will keep you entertained and shouting for more.

Starting at 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 15, you will be able to park your car at Payson High School. A shuttle school bus will pick you up on the north side parking lot (by the football field), off Longhorn Road, and transport you to Payson Multi-Event Center for rodeo performances. After the show, the buses will return you to your parked car. As an incentive for using the shuttle service, you will be dropped off at the front gate and given direct access -- no waiting in long lines!
