The Payson Roundup / Phil Dickey will present concert at Ponderosa Baptist Church

Inspirational recording artist Phil Dickey will present a concert at Ponderosa Baptist Church, 1800 N. Beeline Highway at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 17.

Dickey has shared inspirational music for more than 30 years in churches and other gatherings throughout Arizona, Utah and California, as well as overseas while serving in the Navy.

Although Dickey was born in Corvallis, Ore., he has called Arizona his home for many years.

He studied music at Phoenix College, while majoring in business, and served in the Pacific Fleet during the Vietnam War.
