In a nutshell, Sheriff John Armer is the only candidate for Sheriff that has the experience, training and education for the job.
Mr. Stubbs may be a nice guy with good intentions but I think he is getting in over his head. Leading an organization with 174 employees and volunteers and an almost $10 million budget, in a high risk/high liability environment is no work for a novice.
There is a huge difference in being a deputy for 20 years versus being sheriff with responsibilities of a chief executive of a large organization.
John Armer, who is a Sheriff with command experience, a former police chief and a Sheriff with eight years under his belt is the most logical choice for Sheriff. If I was a Democrat I would be voting for him.
