This is the time of year when we all give thanks and count our blessings. Therefore, this letter is to thank all of those folks who have involved themselves in saving the tabs from aluminum drink cans for the Payson Womans Club.
The PWC treasurer Nansi Conrad, who is also a a member of the Payson chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, takes the collected tabs from both clubs to the Valley and turns them in to The Ronald McDonald House.
The Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for families of seriously ill, hospitalized children.
Special thanks go to Fred and Patty Henderson of Star Valley; the Tom and Micheale Franey family of Payson’s Printing by George; and all of you folks who bring your donations to the gray barrel at the Payson Humane Society.
Some good soul left four, two-liter Coke bottles full of tabs — that is a lot of tabs.
The Humane Society allows us to pull tabs from their cans and sometimes the people assigned to the shelter for community service pull tabs for us.
We thank each of you so very much. You are a blessing to sick children and their families.
If you ever find yourself in the position of needing The Ronald McDonald House in the Valley, all hospitals can help with those arrangements.
If you are not saving your tabs for some other group, drop them off in the gray barrel at the Payson Humane Society, 812 S. McLane Road.
