Community Christmas concerts scheduled

Make room on your calendar for a variety of special holiday programs this month, including those planned by the Payson Christian Ministerial Fellowship and Payson Choral Society.
The annual Christmas pageant presented by the Payson Christian Ministerial Fellowship, “Spirit of Christmas,” is Sunday, Dec. 7 at the high school auditorium. Guests attending are asked to bring a can of food or nonperishable food item for a donation to the local food bank. Performances of contemporary and traditional music will be at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The Payson Choral Society’s Christmas concert, “Christmas Memories,” directed by Daria Mason, with accompaniment by Greg Larkins and Diana Rushlow, comes to the Payson High School auditorium Saturday, Dec. 13. Performances are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Concert tickets are $8 for adults, $3 for students ages 12 to 18, and free for children ages 11 and under. Tickets may be purchased in advance from Choral Society members, at the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Payson Roundup and at the library.
