Rather than think of the extra patrolling on the Beeline as a “new revenue-raising technique” why not think of them as doing their job and keeping our highway safe for us?

They didn’t go through all of their training just to make money for the state — they are paid to protect us. Instead of the statement to the people of Payson to “slow down and save your money, your taxes aren’t enough,” you should have said, “Slow down and save your lives. Your lives are important.”

I am thankful every time that I see a unit on a stop as that stop might have prevented that person or someone else from causing an accident. Keep up the good work, DPS!
