Parade Was A Huge Success

The Eighth Annual Main Street APS Electric Light Parade was a huge success. We had the biggest attendance ever and I want to thank the 40 entrants for the tremendous work and time they put in to making their entries.

Each and every one of them was a winner. It is a lot of work to put on an event this size and none of this would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the following people: Cathy Boone, Cameron Davis, Cindy and Andy Kofile, Chuck Proudfoot, John and Luann Carpino, Green Mountain Emporium, Terry and Katelyn, Gordon Whiting, Don Engler and the Payson Police Department, Payson Fire Department, the Town of Payson, APS, Parks and Rec, Su Connell, Doc Holiday, Bruce Wales, Barbara Ganz, Bobby Jo Haught, Eddie Armer and Fred Carpenter.

Also, all the businesses that decorated and opened their doors to welcome people, those who came to see the parade, and the people of Payson and their visitors who turned out to enjoy the parade ... that’s what makes it all worth it. Happy holidays. Thank you all.
