Lucille T. Hayward, 85, of Mesa, formerly of Strawberry and Payson, died Dec. 1, 2008.
She was born March 4, 1923 in Claremont, N.H. to Francis and Albertine Thibodeau.
She is survived by her daughter, Carole Ann Dunlap of Mesa; son, John F. Hayward of Derby, Vt.; sister, Claire Nelson of Montrose, Colo.; stepbrother, Andre Carter of Elizabethtown, Ky.; granddaughters, Lu Ann Fabian of Redondo Beach, Calif., Renay Stefaniak and Carolee Dunlap, both of Chandler; seven great-grandchildren in Arizona and California and a great-granddaughter in Redondo Beach, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Francis Hayward in May 1999; and daughter, Barbara Jean Hayward.
Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 22 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mesa. Plans will be made in 2009 for burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Claremont, N.H.
Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
