Trailhead Fund-Raiser Helps Payson Community Kids

Editor: The Trailhead staff would like to send out an enormous thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s fund-raiser over the Thanksgiving weekend for the Payson Community Kids/ Marcy’s Kids. We would especially like to thank the camp children Alexis Hatch, Colton Clem and Avery Amico for baking all the fund-raising goodies such as the peanut butter cookie sandwiches, the haystack cookies, the marshmallow pilgrim hat and of course for decorating the football cupcake. These special treats were placed in a hand-glazed ceramic bowl generously donated by local artist Garry Houston. The bowl and treats were available during our bake sale on Thanksgiving Saturday and Sunday, along with a cup of yummy hot chocolate. Members purchased all 18 bowls and we were able to raise $262 for the kids in the Payson community, which they will surely use for something special to make this holiday season exceptional. Thank you all so much for making this year’s fund-raiser a huge success. Have a happy, but most of all, healthy, holiday season and make sure to come by The Trailhead to check out what our Trailhead youth activity staff has to offer your children. Ines Kuperberg
