Notions about police department are wrong

I have been a resident of Payson for 4-1/2 years and have silently listened to a lot of people complain about, put down and flatout disparage the police department. I can no longer stay silent.

I wish to express my angst regarding the decision of the mayor and town manager to lay off a number of top employees after “many town employees had offered to work shorter hours or take a pay cut to save the jobs of coworkers.”

DPS expecting more wet conditions on Arizona highways

Southern and Eastern Arizona are experiencing cold temperatures along with incoming storm fronts, which are expected to bring snow, sleet, freezing rain and produce wet and icy roadways for elevations beginning at 3,000 feet, including most of Gila County.
