Horns host Rim Country Duals this weekend

Payson hosts the Payson Pro Rodeo Rim Country Duals this week.
A total of eight teams will compete in the two-day contest sponsored by the Payson Pro Rodeo Committee.
The Payson Longhorns will entertain: 5A, Division 2, Camelback of Phoenix; 5A, Division 2, Skyline of Mesa; 4A, Division 2, Page; 4A, Division 2, Queen Creek; 4A, Division 2, Seton Catholic of Mesa; 3A, Fountain Hills; and 2A, San Manuel (from near Tucson); Friday, Dec. 19 and Saturday, Dec. 20.
Contests start on four mats in Wilson Dome at 3 p.m. Friday and continue until about 8 p.m., according to Don Heizer, tournament director.
The matches resume at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, with individual championship bouts between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
“There is no admission,” said Heizer. “This is our way of saying thank you to all the wrestling fans in the community.”
A special treat at the concession stand will be Jackie Lee’s green chili, which can be served in a bowl or in a burrito, Heizer said.
