The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree at National Bank of Arizona at the corner of the Beeline and West Main in Payson still has tags waiting to be claimed by the Rim Country’s secret Santas. Gifts need to be returned to National Bank by Monday, Dec. 22. The program has assisted about 106 children so far.
The Salvation Army’s bell ringers are at area stores. All funds contributed stay in the Rim Country. Donations are still being accepted.
The generosity of the community can be witnessed at the Angel Trees at Arizona State Credit Union and First State Bank.
Approximately 50 youngsters are benefitting from the program at the credit union and 130 seniors will benefit from First State Bank’s and PostNet’s 3rd Annual Senior Christmas Angel Tree. All gifts will be hand delivered to local Payson seniors in need and without families this holiday season.
