Twenty-two students from the Payson High School DECA Chapter attended the 2008 Western Region Leadership Conference in Phoenix from Nov. 20 through 23.
Those 22 students were among 2,000 students from 14 western states and territories who attended the WRLC, which is designed to develop leadership skills in students who are pursuing careers in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship.
At this 3-day conference, students attended eight hours of workshops, a professional tour at Chase Field, a Phoenix Roadrunner hockey game and a Suns basketball game.
