When talking about the environment what does it mean to buy wisely, act wisely, and vote wisely?

Carol Jones, instructor for the Environmental Geology class offered this spring semester at Gila County Community College in Payson, will offer some answers.

This course examines geological hazards of concern to citizens of Gila County and nearby areas, the ways in which people exacerbate the problems, and the measures individuals can take to avoid and correct them.

Water issues are crucial to local residents, so learning more about planetary water, surface water, and groundwater peculiarities of aquifers in Arizona will provide some interesting viewpoints.
