The Payson High School basketball teams swept the Alchesay Falcons in crucial 3A East showdowns Friday evening in Wilson Dome.
The boys remained undefeated in the East (9-0) with a 79-45 victory that was fueled by senior guard Levi Neal's 19 first-half points.
Overall, the team upped its record to 19-6.
In girls' action, the Lady Horns rode their height advantage to a 54-33 victory over the Whiteriver team.
"The girls played really well," coach Stacy Anderson said.
With the victory, the Lady Horns improved their East credentials to 6-3 and kept their hopes alive for at least a share of the region championship.
The PHS teams wrap up the regular season today, Saturday, against Snowflake in Wilson Dome. Girls' action tips off at 6 p.m. and the boys take the court at 7:30 p.m.
