Dante Rebai, 85, of Payson, died Jan. 31, 2008.

He was a graduate of Excelsior High School in Norwalk, Calif., and worked for Uniroyal Tire Company as a pipe fitter for almost 37 years. He was a member of the Payson Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge. He had also played for the Payson Cougars senior softball team and was their team treasurer. He moved to Payson in 1995 from Anaheim Calif., and was an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents John B. Rebai and Angela Zaro Rebai, as well as his three sisters, Mary Hill, Angie Brackman and Rita Santi and his two brothers, Johnny Rebai and Frank Rebai.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marilyn Rebai and his three daughters, Danette Rebai of Canyon Lake, Texas., Vanessa (Bob) Grubb of Fountain Hills, Ariz., and Tina Duran of Boise, Idaho; and five grandchildren will miss him greatly, Daniel, Angelie and Amie Duran of Boise, Idaho and Jeffrey and James Grubb of Fountain Hills, Ariz.

Private services have already been held by the family.
