William Fillmore Thompson died Dec. 23, 2007. He was born April 6, 1922 in Mead Station, Ky. to Harry and Ella Thompson.
Mr. Thompson worked as a metal smith in the aircraft business and was a member of the Elks Lodge, the American Legion and the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Dugan; and sons, William Thompson Jr. and Larry Dean Thompson. He has 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren also surviving.
Services were held Jan. 2 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
He was interred at Payson Pioneer Cemetery.
