Payson Community Christian School, seventh- through 12th-grade English and history

Why do you teach? I love helping kids understand that if they use the gifts they were given, work hard and follow their hearts, they can succeed in life. I love making a difference.

Personal motto / words of wisdom: Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.

Family: An amazing husband who supports me so much and a baby on the way.

Favorite hobby or leisure activity: I love playing volleyball and shopping.

Why the Rim Country? I love the beauty of God's creation. I think this is a great place for kids to grow up and go to school. It's a great atmosphere.

Person in history you'd most like to meet and why?

I would love to meet Harriet Tubman because of her courage and bravery in helping slaves escape from slavery.

In school, who was your favorite teacher and why?

I was actually home schooled and my mom was a great influence in my life. She taught me to stay strong for my savior, Jesus Christ and to work hard at everything I did for His glory.

What was your favorite subject in school and why?

English, because I love knowing how to write properly and be creative. I love teaching kids the right format of proper English and helping them open their minds to new ideas.
