ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUE SEASON BEGINS FEBRUARY 18
Register your basketball team Jan. 1 through Feb. 1. Competitive, Recreational and 30-and-over divisions will be offered.
A four-team minimum for each division is required to make a league. Players cannot play in more than one division, with the exception of the 30-and-over division.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age and out of high school to play. A double-elimination season-ending tournament will be included. Open gym will start Feb. 18--Feb. 21 from 6-9:30 p.m. Season games will begin Feb. 25. The entry fee is $250 per team.
ADULT DROP-IN SOCCER FROM 5:30-7:30 p.m. WEDNESDAYS
Come join in on Wednesday for Adult Drop-In Soccer. Drop-in soccer lights turn on at 5:30 and go to 7:30 on the South Rumsey Soccer Field.
3-on-3 HOOPS TOURNAMENT
Join us for two days of fun at our outdoors basketball courts in Rumsey Park.
Enter your team of 3 (maximum of 5) by Wednesday, April 16 at 5 p.m.
A round-robin seeding tournament will begin on Friday, April 18 at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, April 19, Teams will compete for 1st and 2nd place prizes in a bracketed tournament.
All participants must be at least 18 years of age to play. Men's, Women's and COED divisions will be offered, as long as a minimum of four teams sign up for each division. Register for this program by April 16, and registration fee is $40.
ADULT COED SOFTBALL LEAGUE
Registration for the Spring COED Softball League will be held February 25-March 28. Recreation and competitive divisions will be offered as long as a minimum of four teams sign up for each division.
A player cannot play in more than one division. All participants must be at least 16 years of age to play. The fee is $225 per team. Register for this program by March 28.
YOUTH PROGRAMS
Little Longhorn Wrestling is for grades 3 thru 6.
A wrestling clinic will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:30 in the Payson High School Wrestling Room. Registration fee is $20 and includes a T-shirt and an end-of-season wrestling tournament in the Payson High School Dome on March 8. Register until February 1.
BASKETBALL BONANZA SKILLS COMPETITION
Boys and girls ages 9-14 are eligible to participate in three competitions: Hot Shot, Free Throw, and Three Point Shootout.
Register at the Parks and Recreation office or at Rim Country Middle School gym. First-place winners advance to compete at the state level at U.S. Airways Center and can only participate in once skill contest at the state level. This is a free Phoenix Suns and APRA event, but registration is required. Register until Feb. 15 by 5 p.m.
