Thelma I. Manning, 82, died Jan. 8, 2008 at Payson Care Center. She was born July 1, 1925, in Talcott, W.Va. to Guy and Mary Willey.
She married Theron G. Manning on Nov. 19, 1961.
She retired from Mountain Bell Telephone Company after 25 years of service. She had a passion for her church, her pets, cooking and painting.
Survivors include her grandson, Jeffrey Vinson; stepdaughter, Cheryl and her husband, Glenn Wilcox; brother-in-law, Don Manning and his wife, Marge; and sister-in-law, Doyce Kruse. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 22, 2006.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
A private service was held at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Ariz.
