Get your taste buds ready for wood-fired pizza, specialty baked pasta, crisp Caesar salad, Italian chicken and tiramisu.
Gerardo's will host a buffet from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 28 for New Beginnings Pregnancy Center.
Come into the restaurant and pick up a to-go plate or stay for a while.
The buffet is all-you-can-eat or you can take a to-go box.
A beverage and dessert are included in the $15 per person meal price. The tip is not included. Patrons may pay at the door.
"I enjoy Gerardo's pasta, but it is his fresh bread with balsamic vinegar I love best. You can't get it anywhere else," said Michelle DeRouin, director of NBPC.
Gerardo's is located at 512 N. Beeline Highway, Payson.
DeRouin is excited about the buffet because the proceeds will help fund the Teen Maze later this year.
The nonprofit center offers young women support for planned and unplanned pregnancies and promotes abstinence as the best form of birth control.
In her November 2007 newsletter, DeRouin reported NBPC had given 151 pregnancy tests.
Of those tests, 103 were positive and 48 were negative. Seventy-five of the women who tested positive returned to the center for pregnancy and parenting classes.
The mothers-to-be earned Mommy and Me dollars to spend for baby items in NBPC's ‘store.'
New Beginnings Pregnancy Center is located at 701 S. Ponderosa in Payson. For more information call (928) 474-7466.
