Stanley Ray Fuller Sr., 89, born Aug. 23, 1918 at Cove Ranch, in Strawberry, died June 12, 2008 in Mesa.

He was preceded in death only three months ago by his wife of almost 67 years, Elvira. He has seven children. His oldest daughter, Mariam, preceded him in death as an infant. Surviving are Ray (Pert), Chris (Janet), Carl (Evy), Tom (Cinnamon), JaNeen, Merriann (Paul Cady), 31 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.

They married in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple Dec. 19, 1941. Mr. Fuller was a Navy medic assigned to the Marines. He served at Iwo Jima in World War II. After the war, he worked with his father on the Y-H Ranch, buying the cattle permit and homestead from his father. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mr. Fuller served as an ambassador for Jesus Christ on 26 missions, and is now on his 27th. Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 5 at Crismon LDS Church, 454 N. Crismon Rd. Mesa. A graveside military honors service will be at 4:30 p.m. at Cove Ranch in Strawberry.
