Phyllis Fee Best of Payson, died June 16, 2008. She was born Aug. 12, 1925 in Canton, S.D. to Tom and Augusta Fee.
She married Harmie Best Nov. 20, 1944 and made her home in Sioux Falls, S.D. until moving to Scottsdale in 1961.
The couple moved to Payson in 1983, where she taught china painting for Eastern Arizona College for seven years.
Mrs. Best enjoyed her crafts, china painting and making porcelain dolls. She was in charge of the Payson Doll Shows for 10 years.
She is survived by her husband, Harmie Best of Payson; son, Roger (Cathy) Best of Chandler; grandsons, Nathan (Victoria) Best and Dominick Best; great-granddaughter, Gabriela Best, all of Maryland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, and one grandson.
Burial will be private.
