Main Street Is The Place For Art And Antique Walk

Give boredom the boot, saddle up, grab your filly and mosey down to Main Street this Friday night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to stirrup some excitement.

You can hoof it, hitch your wagon at on-street parking or, if your calves get tired, vamoose on the shuttle bus. Rein in your excitement as you gander at a whole range of products or just shoot the bull as you blanket Historic Main Street.

Bullet over to the Main Street Grille for a barrel load of half-priced appetizers. Giddyup to Gasoline Alley where the Kiwanis Club will have their beefy hot dogs and brats and the Soroptimist Club will be loaded with See's Candy. Enjoy 20 percent off all antiques to help spruce up your bunkhouse.

Head 'em up to Bootleg Alley Antiques & Art for some live strumming, good vittles and a Payson Humane Society raffle. Next, ride out to Eagle Mountain Gifts where you can lasso some big savings on closeout furniture for the ranch.

Now buckle down and git over to Down the Street Art Gallery to see the new Marguerite Noble sculpture by Gail, as well as soft sculptures by Joellen Covington. Spur yourself on to Payson's very first church -- Community Presbyterian Church -- where you can horn in on some live pickin' and grinnin' by Payson Jazz and enjoy some chocolate fixin's and ice cream sundaes.

Local car clubs will bring the horsepower so you can ask the chaps to show you their classic cars, Mustangs, Goats and maybe even an old Indian Motorcycle or two.
