Three people involved in a fight at a Star Valley tattoo shop ended up in the hospital.
Two adult males and one juvenile got into an altercation Saturday night, May 31, at Ink Werkz Tattoos in Star Valley.
Weapons were involved, according to the police press release on the matter.
Two adult males, Harold J. Goral, 51, and Larry E. Jefferson, 39, were transported to Valley hospitals for treatment of their injuries. A male juvenile, 17, was treated at Payson Regional Medical Center and later transported to the Valley for his injuries, according to police.
It is believed that all subjects will recover from the injuries, police said.
The cause of the altercation is still under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time. Anyone with information regarding the incident may contact Det. Les Barr or Det. Matt Van Camp at the Payson Police Department, (928) 474-5177.
Heroin for sale charges made
An investigation by Payson police officers turned up heroin and other drugs and has led to charges against a Star Valley man.
Special Enforcement Unit detectives of the Payson Police Department recently made an arrest after an investigation that involved the possession of heroin.
At a May 23 traffic stop, conducted by the detectives, Brian A. Richardson, 46, of Star Valley was placed under arrest.
Using a search warrant on Richardson and his residence police say they found one-and-a-half grams of heroin, one gram of cocaine and several other drug paraphernalia items.
According to the police report Richardson was booked into the Gila County jail on charges of possession of narcotic drugs (heroin) for sale, possession of narcotic drugs (cocaine), aggravated DUI/drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
