First State Bank has announced the promotion of Amy Hill to vice president, commercial lender. Hill will have the primary responsibility of business development and retention as well as branch management.
"Amy has been a key part of our rapid growth in the Payson market, and we are thrilled to see her continue to grow in this leadership position," said Blake Rolley, president and CEO of First State Bank.
Hill joined the bank in 2007 as assistant vice president and commercial lender. She has enjoyed six years in banking in the Payson area.
She is the creator and coordinator for First State Bank's Angel Tree Project and coordinator for First State Bank's Education Outreach Program in Payson. She helped educate more than 300 Payson students in finance this year alone.
Hill is also active in the community. She is currently serving as the vice president of Big Brothers Big Sisters, she is a Central Arizona Board of Realtors member and member of the Rotary Club of Payson. She will also be participating in the Susan B. Komen Cancer 3-Day Walk in Phoenix later this year.
First State Bank is owned by Arizona Bancshares, Inc., a single bank holding company based in Flagstaff, Ariz.
