Sebastien James Joseph Chasse, formerly of Payson, affectionately known as "Booter," 20, drowned June 11, 2008 in Gunlock Reservoir while on vacation in Utah.

Mr. Chasse was born May 26, 1988 in Sierra Vista.

He is a 2006 graduate of Buena High School. He was employed by Vinny's Pizza, Alert First Fire Equipment, and recently began his own business, C & C Cash Flow Notes.

He was a member of Country Estates Southern Baptist Church in Hereford, Ariz.

He was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed cooking.

He is survived by his father, James L. Chasse of Hereford; his mother, Michelle Gibbar of Rio Rico, Ariz.; sister, Sarah Chasse of Tucson; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Wanda Gibbar of Tucson; and paternal grandmother, Geraldine Chasse of Madawaska, Maine.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ernest Chasse II of Madawaska, Maine.

Services were held June 19.

In lieu of flowers, an account named "A Memory of Sebastien Chasse" has been opened at Wells Fargo Bank and is available at all branches. These funds will be donated to the volunteer Search and Rescue Team that was responsible for bringing Mr. Chasse home.

Arrangements were handled by Jensen Mortuary.
