Each year, the Payson Roundup brings the residents of the Rim Country this special publication highlighting senior living.

This 2008 edition has features on the two main services offered the seniors of our communities -- the Payson Senior Citizens Center and the Payson Regional Chapter of the Senior Circle Association. Pine and Strawberry seniors are provided similar services through the Pine Senior Citizens Center.

We are also bringing you stories from seniors about why they retired to the Rim Country and several retired residents who are active volunteers.

Scott Flake, with Edward Jones, has provided an article with financial information specifically geared to seniors.

Rim Review travel writer Ken Brooks highlights some of the best travel opportunities for our older residents. The article is accompanied by photos taken by Roundup and Rim Review publisher John Naughton on a recent trip to Ireland.

There are tips to plan some fun into your retirement years, develop a healthy lifestyle for a long life, and an exploration of reasons to go back to school -- Gila Community College has a real deal for senior citizens interested in taking enrichment courses.

You will also find an article on making your home more senior-friendly to minimize the risk of falls and other injuries.

We hope you'll find the Senior Review both informative and entertaining.
