Hello, lately all throughout the United States people have been much exited about the upcoming presidential election. Fortunately I finally have the great privilege to vote, but it seems to me that it is hard to find a standout candidate. In Payson's upcoming elections, that will not be the case.
I was born in Payson and have had the great opportunity to live here my whole life. Throughout that time, I have never met a greater teacher than Kenny Evans. I have had the great benefit of learning from Mr. Evans in many ways, including: church, Scouts, and even high school.
I am a senior this year and the pressure to start applying to college can seem unbearable. While filling out of my application I was required to meet with church leaders. When meeting with Mr. Evans he was very helpful and encouraging. Not only did I get a great amount of advice he even took time out of his busy schedule to proofread my essay for me. Mr. Evans has always been a great inspirational speaker.
Not only has he shown the way by his words, but also by his actions. He is a great example. The Scout Law states "A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent" and I would say, so is Kenny Evans. So when this upcoming election for mayor comes up, I will have no doubt who is the best choice and that is Kenny Evans.
