Ann Patricia Parker died Feb. 17, 2008. She fought a short, courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Parker was born Oct. 27, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa. Her family moved to Phoenix when she was 6 years old.
She lived in Sedona for awhile before moving back to Phoenix with her sister, Mary. She met her husband, Ed Parker, shortly thereafter.
They were married in Sedona in 1973 and had three children, Dan and his wife Amy, Jeremiah and his wife Haunani, and Jessica and her husband Jay. They have five grandchildren, Jessica Ann, Mackenzie Erin, John Jeffrey, Karissa Lynn and Reece Keoni.
Mrs. Parker is also survived by her father, James Powers Sr.; brothers, James Jr., Daniel, Richard, Bill and wife Elizabeth. Also surviving are too many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mention.
She is also survived by her one-time business partner, sister in heart and friend of 36 years, Beth Smith; daughter-in-law in heart, Kelley Parker, mother of Jessica Ann; Bob Parker and wife Pat; Bev Robison and husband Robert.
A memorial will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at Shepherd of the Pines Church. A potluck dinner will follow from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
