Jews for Jesus program

What do the Jewish Passover and Jesus' Last Supper have in common? Tracy Rapp, speaking on behalf of Jews for Jesus, will answer that question in a presentation called "Christ in the Passover" at 6 p.m., Monday, March 10 at Payson Christian Church, 501 E Rancho Road, Payson. Admission is free. Come back to the Fellowship Hall behind the Worship Center.

The group Two or More will be featured at the 2008 Resurrection Celebration Saturday, March 22.

Using a visual display of traditional Passover accouterments, the "Christ in the Passover presentation enhances the Christian's understanding and appreciation of the Jewish background of the Christian Communion. Ancient and modern Jewish customs are discussed and described with an emphasis on the aspect of redemption, which Christ accomplished at Calvary.

Those attending the special "Christ in the Passover" program at Payson Christian Church March 10 will also have an opportunity to examine some of the program literature, materials and even CDs of original Jewish gospel music and drama.

The free program is open to the general public and Tracy Rapp will be available to answer questions those attending might have. A freewill offering will be taken. For more information, call the church at (928) 474-3138 or go to and check out the "Events" page and map on the "contact us" page.
