There will be a lot of things to see and do tonight during the First Friday on Main Street Art and Antiques Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 7.
People walking down Main Street in Payson this evening can listen to a great jazz trio while munching on delicious cinnamon rolls and chocolate delights at the Community Presbyterian Church, 800 W. Main St. The church will also have their Greater Gift sale, featuring handcrafted items from around the world.
Bootleg Alley will feature Celtic and classic rock music performed by vocalists Kathleen Kelly and Jim West.
Git A Rope will offer a 10-percent discount on every item in the store.
The Soroptimist Club will be at Gasoline Alley with See's Candy.
Artists of the Rim Fine Art Gallery will show the work of their first-ever guest artist, Jay Kemp.
Galarneau's Gems will have a special display of local rocks used in the art of jewelry making.
In addition to the beautiful artwork at Down the Street Art Gallery, raffle tickets to support the Humane Society will be available.
As always, there will be on-street parking available and most merchants will offer complimentary refreshments from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Best of all, the event is free, so come on down to Main Street and join the fun.
Car club members are invited to display their cars along Main Street during this event. Vendors, street performers and local businesses are invited to participate at no charge.
