Kenneth E. Hawk Sr., 68, of Payson, formerly of Casa Grande, died March 4, 2008 at Scottsdale Shea Hospital.
Mr. Hawk was born May 3, 1939 in Moline, Ill. to Forest and Lorraine Hawk. They moved to Tucson, Ariz. in 1944. In 1963, Mr. Hawk moved to Casa Grande with his wife, Dottie Hawk, and their son.
He was the Arizona State Bowling President in 1978-1979 and he served as the Casa Grande Bowling President for a number of years. He was a member of the Casa Grande Bowling Association and a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge #1957 in Casa Grande. He retired from Chickasha Cotton Oil Company after 31 years. He and his wife moved to Payson in 2000.
His wife of 47 years, Dottie Hawk; sons, Kenneth E. Hawk Jr. of Casa Grande and Karl Hawk of Payson; a daughter, Kelly Pearce of Payson; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a brother, Chuck Hawk of Tucson, and sister-in-law, Marge Hawk of Phoenix, survive Mr. Hawk.
Memorial services will be held at the Elks Lodge #1957 in Casa Grande at 3 p.m., March 9, 2008.
