After six months of efforts to get it ready, the Payson Area Habitat for Humanity's ReStore is having its grand opening Saturday, March 15, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
The store is located at 403 South Ash Street and will offer home improvement enthusiasts a plethora of appliances and materials to satisfy almost any need.
"The store will carry discontinued, outdated and deleted items at significant savings," said Payson Area Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Cristine Royer.
The goal is to offer Payson residents an affordable alternative to the high cost of remodeling a home and to help eliminate rundown housing in Payson.
Items on sale include countertops, cabinets and doors, as well as appliances, electrical supplies, roofing materials and most other home improvement items.
The store will also carry interior decorating items like plants, artwork, drapes and blinds as well as office furniture and supplies.
She said prices on merchandise, sold as is, will cost about half as much as the same new item.
All of the items in the store come from retail stores, contractors and private donations.
Regular store hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
