The Arizona Supreme Court will hold oral arguments from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 29 at the Payson High School Auditorium, 409 West Longhorn.
Members of the legal community from around Gila County are invited to attend as the Supreme Court hears arguments in two cases. The cases to be heard will be announced approximately three weeks prior to scheduled date.
"It is important for the judicial branch to reach out to all Arizona residents, giving them the opportunity to see the Supreme Court at work," said Chief Justice Ruth V. McGregor.
"Following the oral arguments the Court will host an informal question and answer period, giving those in attendance a chance to learn about Supreme Court practice," said presiding Judge Peter Cahill.
The public is welcome, but seating is limited, so please arrive early. Attendees are required to pass through security screening, and are strongly encouraged to leave all electronic devices and bags at home.
