Terry Neil Himmerick, 54, of Mesa, was involved in an off-road jeep accident on Sunday, March 23, 2008.
He was born July 29, 1953 in Valley City, N.D. He graduated from Valley High School in 1971, and served in the U.S. Navy for four years. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he achieved a bachelor's of science degree in business in 1979 from Valley City State College. Following graduation he moved to Mesa. He worked in the East Valley as a certified public accountant and later added the designation of certified financial planner. He was a member of Crossroads Nazarene Church in Chandler.
He was preceded in death by Henry and Margaret Himmerick, and his brother Michael, who died in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara Beyer; four children, Kristine, 31, of Sacramento, Calif., Kyle, 28, of Longmont, Colo., Katie, 23, and Karalyn, 21, both of Chandler.; brothers, James of Minneapolis, Minn. and Ron of Jamestown, N.D.; and daughter-in-law, Stacy.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all who participated in the search for their dear husband, father and friend.
