Business Showcase Has Limited Space, And A Few Sponsorships Still Available

The 16th annual Business Showcase, Hidden Treasures of the Rim Country, has a few sponsorships still available, plus a few booth spaces. The deadline to become a sponsor and/or claim an exhibit space is April 11. The event is April 18 and April 19.

The showcase is featuring a pirate theme this year at its new and improved home in the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino's Event Hall. The showcase will have 45 exhibitors.

The exhibitors include both businesses and organizations from around the Rim Country. Each booth will offer raffles for guests at the showcase, though no products will be sold. The showcase is an opportunity to introduce residents, visitors and other businesses to the wide variety of goods and services provided by local merchants and area organizations.

Exhibits will be put in place from noon to 5 p.m., Friday, April 18, with a mixer for showcase participants, sponsors and chamber members following at 5:30 p.m. The mixer is for those 21 and older, said John Stanton, manager of the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce. It will include food, music and a no-host bar, plus prizes for participants.

Exhibitors will also be competing for Best of Show, Best Representation of Theme, Media Award, Best Outside Booth and the Peoples' Choice Award.

The showcase is open to the public, free of charge, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 19.

The Mazatzal Hotel and Casino is the presenting sponsor of this year's showcase.
