Emma McQueston McCue, a longtime resident of Payson, died April 27, 2008. She was born Feb. 10, 1920 in Detroit, Mich. to Fred and Sevea McQueston.
She attended school in a one-room schoolhouse in Michigan and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1938.
She moved to Arizona in 1946 and worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Company in Phoenix where she met her husband, Harry William McCue. They were married June 13, 1947.
In 1961, Mrs. McCue became the proud mother of Connie Marie.
She was an active, life member of HOPES, the women's auxiliary of Payson Elks Lodge #2154.
After living in Payson for many years, they moved to Payson, Utah to be closer to their daughter and their grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Harry; sister, Sylvia McMahon; daughter, Connie; son-in-law, Michael; and her four grandchildren, Alicia, BreeAnn, Caleb and Daelynn.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Brooks
