The Main Street Grille will roll into summer with a new menu, a new patio dance floor, longer hours, a full entertainment schedule and only premium-brand liquors from the well.
The popular Payson eatery at 202 W. Main St. is the featured restaurant on the Town of Payson's new tourism Web site.
"We don't make changes one at a time, but in bunches, and our patrons are really pleased with what we doing," said manager Gerry Cruz. The ghosts seem pretty happy, too, since they've become a little more active in recent weeks and that's how we gauge their reaction." The restaurant's ghosts have been the subject of several paranormal investigations confirming their presence.
The restaurant will open every day at 11 a.m., closing at 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; 9 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday; and 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The Main Street Grille also will now only serve premium-brand liquors from the well at the same prices that generic-label drinks were offered.
"Just for fun, burgers are half price all day Monday," Cruz said. In addition, guests 55 and older get 20 percent off all entrees on Tuesdays, and the restaurant's knockout Country Fried Steak Dinner will be served all day Sunday. For more information, visit www.mainstreetgrillepayson.com.
