Rob Kelley, regional director for Avada of Payson, was one of nearly 200 clinicians who attended the Avada Business Conference held Oct. 13-15 in Las Vegas. Avada Hearing Care Centers, operating subsidiary of Hearing Healthcare Management, Inc. (HHM), holds this business conference once every two years to advance hearing clinicians’ ability and skills so that they can better help patients in their local markets.
The conference took place over three days at the Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa. The resort was chosen in part because it is located significantly north of the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas strip. This helped to enhance the learning environment where clinicians worked toward 10 hours of continuing education credits. A variety of topics were covered including: tinnitus, auditory distortion, soundfield solutions, and new product innovation.
All of the clinicians in the local business attended the conference with Kelley. “The Avada Business Conference is just one example of the strong desire and commitment Avada Hearing Care Centers has to providing the best quality and care available,” said Kelley.
Everyone over the age of 55 should have annual hearing screenings. Avada of Payson offers free hearing screenings for those interested. Nationwide, Avada Hearing Care Centers’ mission has always been to serve the hearing impaired with the highest degree of professionalism, technology and service available. Avada operates more than 270 hearing care centers nationwide.
