Well, we are seeing firsthand what former Mayor Edwards and his supporters were striving for. With the way the economy is now it shows us that with the no growth plan they pushed, what effects it is having on the town.

Many businesses going out of business, people getting laid off, construction halted and people now struggling to find work. Maybe the people in town will finally see that the construction and growth industry is what supports this town. What are all the people who wanted no growth going to do when the other businesses in town go under? Where are you going to shop? Who is going to take care of your needs, maintenance and other issues?

Why don’t we go ahead with the bypass and really dry up the town? Isn’t that what the no growth people want? Be careful what you wish for, as you might just get it.
