Congratulations to all citizens of Payson and the region for the magnificent attendance at our PHS auditorium to witness the tributes paid to our American veterans on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11.
It was extremely gratifying to see that so many answered the call to devote that small slice of time to remember, reflect and re-dedicate ourselves to the worthy things that we hold dear in our lives. Hats off as well to the many dedicated and talented volunteers who made it all happen. This year we demonstrated that our community is, indeed, the caring and sharing community that we wish to be.
The program, which to those who witnessed it, stands on its own merits. Each and every presentation was in honor of and paid tribute to the occasion and represented our precise feeling toward our veterans. The inclusion of our youth was especially gratifying and an eloquent tribute to all veterans and American patriots in attendance.
Well done, Payson. We should be proud to be part of and enjoy this great community in which we live.
More than ever, we must continue to participate and reflect our need to care for each other as we face the uncertain challenges ahead.
