Invitation to anniversary party for Scotts

The children and grandchildren of W.A. and Janet Scott of Payson invite the couple’s friends and neighbors to help them celebrate their golden anniversary at an open house reception from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Payson Elks Lodge, 1206 N. Beeline Highway.
Mr. and Mrs. Scott were married Nov. 22, 1958 in Gallup, N.M. Mr. Scott retired in 1995 after 34 years of service with the Tonto National Forest where he was the construction and maintenance supervisor. He also served as a corporal with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956 to 1958. Mrs. Scott retired in 1997 from the Payson Unified School District after 10 years of service.
The couple’s children include Janna L. Scott-Reese; William A. Scott; Nancy A. Scott; Maj. Michaelene F. Scott and husband, David Medlock; Louis H. Scott and wife, Raquel; and Lt. Tim Scott and wife, Diane.
