Annual Community Fair Aims To Keep Residents Fit And Healthy

Getting and staying healthy has never been so much fun. Gear up for winter with healthy living information and screenings from Payson’s health and community service providers.

The 10th annual Community Health and Care Fair will be held from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Payson High School “old gym.”

Free admission to the Health Fair allows participants the opportunity to enjoy and learn from more than 32 exhibits and participate in free and low-cost screenings, including: screenings for hearing, vision, blood pressure, dental, spine, dermatology, nutrition, oxygen saturation, lower extremity circulation, and diabetes, bone density testing $20, blood tests: CMP and glucose, cholesterol and PSA for men.

The cost for women $10, men $15 (12-hour fast with only medications and water), flu shots for $20, pneumonia shots for $40 and tetanus shots for $35.

A free gift for the first 100 families, snacks and lots of free items from local organizations, provides something for everyone to enjoy as a perfect Saturday morning activity.
